During the course of the investigation, Martin's alleged involvement was discovered, he said.
Investigators think Rehling and Martin might have abused other students.
Affiliated with the Seventh-day Adventist church, the school for kindergarten through 10th-grade boys and girls is at 21975 S. Rehling taught the junior high students math, history and Bible studies.
Martin taught Bible, history and health to seventh- and eighth-graders and served as vice principal.
Detective Sam Urias of the Hillsboro Police Department said Rehling resigned after the parents of one of his victims confronted him.
Charles Allen Martin, 43, of Aloha, is charged with five counts of second-degree sexual abuse and five counts of third-degree sexual abuse. Marc Sussman, Rehling's attorney, said Friday that it was too early to comment on the case.
